I know the grind at IMG Academy . Young men who get great grades at IMG need to reward themselves with a Northwestern degree. It is 4 years vs 40. Northwestern is a special place . We need special people .

NU is largely a filtering mechanism, but I love the fact that our program does not entertain screwups, jokers and fools in the program. You have to have your act together to make it at NU.

I certainly did not "fit" the NU mold.

I think it's more brutal to get into NU these days because of the flood of applicants, but you probably had to work harder for an "A" or "B" than students today. Grade inflation is rampant.
