I expect a much more aggressive second half out of BMac than 0 points and 1 assist in the second half. That type of competitor doesn't forget about the layup he missed to send the game to overtime six weeks ago

Critical stretch for NU came between 13:54 and 10:25. Outscored 12-0 while Kreisberg in for Olah. So much for Senior Night.

Guess we're getting serious, usual starting lineup in for Cats

Worst rebounding team in Big Ten owns a 20-12 advantage on Cats

Scottie Lindsey the first Wildcat in double digits with 10 after a fast-break layup off the pass from Demps

Another block at the rim for Lindsey... that's his fourth in the past two home games

Olah putting on a clinic right now. Why did they stop feeding him in the first half?

Great passing by Olah and Sobo set up Law for 2-handed dunk

Olah has been playing great defense in the 2nd half.

12-3 run cuts a 12 point Wolverine lead to 3. Michigan timeout with 10 minutes to go

I missed the first half. Did something happen to Taphorn? Why isn't he playing at all in second half? With BMac feeling by sick, we need a 3 point threat.

Michigan going with third different defender on Olah, but he scores again

Olah's rebound gives NU 45-44 lead. Cats have outscored Wolverines 16-3 during this stretch with 10 points from Olah

7-0 run by Michigan kills NU momentum, down by 6 with 2:47 to go

Someone please explain why Cobb is getting all the minutes? It's not like he's on fire--Taphorn would open things up. Right now, only Olah is hot.

Cobb hits a three then grabs an offensive rebound and gets hacked... heading to the line after the timeout

I honestly think the basketball gods are not with us how many times are Michigan going to hit lucky shots and Demps shot rims out

Turning into a Hollywood ending for Cobb... all it needs is a Cat win

Couldn't agree more regarding letting Cobb play as much as he wants. What kind of idiot would suggest otherwise!?

Irvin misses, Demps hits game-tying 3 with 2.4 left. Hold your breath.

Are you kidding me!? Tre Demps goes full Reggie Miller mode, hits back to back threes in nine seconds after a Michigan turnover to send the game to a 2nd OT

If the Cats win this, it'll be tough to decide who the hero is between Cobb, Olah, and Demps

Olah was certainly better, but the hero was clearly Demps.

Wow. This is a new Cats team. Incredible. I told my wife tonight that we will make the tournament next year.

Optimism feels good! Great win Cats! What a game by Tre.

Irvin scored a LOT of point on Demps tonight. A LOT. Like this doesn't go to OT points otherwise. What Demps taketh, he giveth away... Just this time one less. Give me Demps in a close game to make the last shot anytime... But if we want to prevent needing a last shot, I'd rather see team basketball where open guys get hit rather than ignored.

MVP: Olah, hands down. He'd have had 40 if we had guys who'd get him the ball. He had position with perfect timing all night. In person, it was really, really obvious.

I would add one comment that we might have won earlier had we found a way to keep getting the ball to Olah in the post. He was unstoppable when he caught it down low and we stopped insisting that he at least get one chance down there each possession. Good defense can reduce the chances for a good entry pass but we should have kept after it more than we did. Great game by Olah.

Irvin is a really good player with a great looking shot and it wasn't always Demps who was losing him. In the second ot, he hit a three after McIntosh left him open in the zone.

The guy had some nice moves into the lane and hit some clutch threes. I believe he was a highly rated player coming out of high school and you can see why. He swished just about every free throw but the one he did miss was really big (leading to Demps' tying three in regulation).

You wonder why Michigan didn't foul Cobb before he passed the ball to Demps for the game-tying three in 1st ot. Glad they didn't though.;
