Northwestern trails by two after an abysmal shooting performance in the first half.

Strong drive to the left by BMac pushes the lead to 42-37 with 15 minutes to go

Northwestern up 48-44 with 11:33 to go, already with 3 threes in the second half after going 1-13 from deep in the first

McIntosh has looked great in the second half, with eight points and four assists. 61-50 lead with 7:30 to go

Gonna be? I think he's already achieved stud status with 20 points in his first college game.

Man, if refs are going to call games like this all year, it is going to be tough to watch. The touch fouls were unbearable.

36 minutes by both BMac and Demps against UMass-Lowell...that can't be good.

Only got to watch the first half; sounds like I picked the wrong half to be available for...

Hope we can get some larger leads earlier to get the youngsters acclimated (except Falzon, who seems ready- at least against inferior competition).

OK, Cats up by 18. Probably over.

Nice game by Alex Olah.

So much for Olah struggling against a smaller lineup (Olah will still have games where he struggles, but that happens to everyone).

Olah and Lumpkin combining for more rbds than the rest of the team.

Definitely making up for Law's absence. But it's only one game.

On the O-end, but gonna miss Law's D (kinda like where missing Cobb's D hurt more than the loss of his production on the O-end).

Also, w/ Law - would have had a starting 5 where everyone is capable of scoring in double-figures on a pretty regular basis (which really hasn't happened since I've been watching the 'Cats) - which is key since there will inevitably be games where a couple of players struggle w/ their shot.

Add Lindsey and Tap who can score from the bench and that would be 7-deep in scorers (w/ Lumpkin and JvZ being the rbd/D guys, tho JvZ's struggles at the FT line will likely play a role in how much time he sees).

Not surprised w/ Falzon's production from the start as all the talk was that Falzon was one of the best shooters in this year's frosh class w/ the makings to be one of the better shooting forwards no matter what class.

Next season, Falzon, Law and Ivan will give opposing coaches headaches.

Which "youngsters" are you referring to? Falzon was a starter and Pardon is going to red-shirt. That leaves only Ash......
