It's funny...last week we were talking about the most watched NU games and how we tend to choke when a lot of eyes are on us and/or expectations are high, but maybe how we turned a corner in Dublin...

I didn't want to get too irrationally anxious when I saw we had become double digit favorites vs. Duke even though the shut out their Week 1 opponent and hung 30 in them, but all kidding aside when I saw everyone on GameDay pick us to win...I sincerely knew we were doomed and would've bet all the money I had on it. This is literally what keeps Northwestern football in the corner with occasional head pats and the eternal backhanded compliment that "Fitz does more with less" even though he is a very well paid coach with excellent facilities, 100% of his own staff and recruits with no undue pressure from anyone to do anything he doesn't wanna do.
