Odds of Deonte Gibson or Nick Van Hoose getting drafted

I read some reports that thought VanHoose might get drafted. None had Deonte doing the same, that's only because he will go as an OLB. Kind of the same as DV. New position so uncertainty exists. I think both could play in the NFL, but in the case of NVH only as a back up or nickle guy. I think the speed thing with him is a real issue. Reports I saw on him lauded his coverage ability but think he will get torched by NFL speed guys. In the case of Deonte, he really could be a FA find for someone if he can make the transition to OLB in camp and impress his team.

Sometimes being a free agent is better than a late draft pick. They player might have more than one option and the teams are looking to fill a primary hole.

Agree about his prospects at Safety. But probably not big enough as an OLB.

How has nobody taken a shot at VanHoose? Is he still hurt? The kid was great and I think his skills would translate well to the NFL.
