After bye week, the Cats host the #2 Buckeyes at Wrigley Field. The Cats beat Purdue two weeks ago to keep bowl hopes alive, but OSU is not likely to help them on that path. OSU is favored by ~28. While that great a spread is possible, Wrigley games have been more often been lower scoring affairs, at least in part due to field conditions.

That said, the Cats' best path to the post-season runs through Ann Arbor and back at the Friendly Confines after Thanksgiving, not this game.

Prediction:

Ara P. 13
Woody H. 35

I hope I'm wrong.

My computer is telling me
Ohio State 38 Northwestern 10.
but my head is telling me
Ohio State 48 Northwestern 3

Can we just forfeit the game and listen to a nice Kenny Chesney concert at Wrigley? Maybe we can use it as a bye to get ready for more winnable games like mich and illini??

Some deja-vu all over again with this total mismatch against duh-OSU. The Groundhog Day game. There have been a few close games in the recent past, but this is unlikely to be one of those.

NU is still coming together and without a couple starters. Maybe NU can do a little better than Purdue. Coach Braun has to get the team ready to compete. Heavy lifting.

Michigan and Illinois are not that much more winnable than OSU the way we have been playing offensively. The only team in the B1G that we can say for certain we are better than is Purdue.

On a windy day
Final score for Scarlet men:
Many points. Bad! Bad!

Expressing this one in a vague Haiku seemed like the less painful choice. It's gonna be ugly.
