After back-to-back pass interference calls by the Bucks brought the ball to near the goal line you have to believe the Longhorns have to score to put the game into OT potentially. A drive up the middle on 1st and goal fails. But the game changer was the questionable 2nd and goal sweep that ended with a disastrous loss to the 8. What a call. Give credit to the Bucks for their goal line stand and outstanding defense on that particular play. That is one call that Sark wishes he had back. Great defense by OSU ending with the strip, scoop and score.
Hobsons choice between the Domers and Buckeyes. I think I dislike ND more and also think the Bucks deserve the championship
esp the way they have dominated in the playoffs. BTW- the playoff system needs to be revised. Hope they fix the format by next year. They also need to do away with 1st round byes for conference winner.

Ain't you learned nothin' while you been ridin' with ECat???

I've got some admiration for Marcus Freeman. Seems he got where he is with a lot of hard work. Maybe a small point and maybe a missed opportunity to some, but when the media-slime chick turned his achievement into a racial issue, he ran over her. It's about the team, Prunella. He's plenty tough. And his DC, Golden (too good!), will be getting some HC invitations.

With Notre Dame being ranked 3rd and 5th in the final polls, if OSU beats them on the 20th, OSU will become the first CF team to defeat 5 top five poll teams in the same year. That is simply badass and they will have earned the title

The Texas RT completely whiffed on the block on that 4th down sack / fumble / TD return. Highly recruited players who are now getting paid boatloads of money, and they still make crucial mistakes that cost their teams games and potential national championships. Same thing with the Penn State QB the night before.

It's a rough game.

Yes, money doesn’t mean you don’t make mistakes. Look at the Head Coaches for proof of concept.

They’re also matched up against absurdly talented D linemen who are also well paid. Guys are gonna win and lose plays in these matchups. OSU’s d line is a force to behold.

Yeah, I get it, but that no consolation for the Texas boosters who paid for and demanded a championship. A better block on that play, and perhaps UT scores a touchdown and then wins in overtime. Today we'd instead be talking about Ryan Day getting fired because he couldn't beat Michigan or take OSU to the promised land.

There can be only one winner in the end. Everyone else will scream, cry and open their wallets in an attempt to buy better players.

Both Texas and PSU had questionable playcalling cost them at the end of the game. PSU being aggressive and throwing midrange pass down the middle that was INT. Contrast that to the brilliantly executed OSU screen pass before halftime that was low risk - high reward and paid off with a TD.

Then Texas’ poor play selection with the lateral run that doomed them - I knew after that play they weren’t getting a TD. ALthough even if TX had scored there was still over 2 minutes and OSU could have easily gone down and got a FG.

Texas scores there, I think they win.
