I came across this interview with Rashawn Slater about the Chargers upcoming season. An articulate NU alum, I’ve enjoyed following his career with Chargers beginning with his outstanding rookie year. Hopefully he’s fully recovered from the serious injury that kept out of the majority of the previous season. It’s always fun to watch our alums participate at the top level of sports. Update on Rashawn Slater. He’s reinjured his pectoral which he tore a few seasons ago. He was out for the Chargers-Chiefs game today which the Chiefs dominated in the 2nd half. The Chargers have a bye week coming up to allow Slater more time to heal.

Slater (pectoral) did not practice Friday and has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against Kansas City.
