OT: haiku, on a slow day…

Another recruit
Day after day they commit
The drought receeded

Ironically, I had just put together this haiku related display before seeing this thread.

The included narrative reads:

MORNING MIST OVER JAPAN'S LAKE KAWGUCHI

A haiku which was inspired by the early morning views as captured by my camera while at Japan's Lake Kawaguchi at the base of Mount Fuji.

The morning mist lifts

Mirrored reflections emerge

My soul too awakens

Pictured below is today's just completed companion Haiku Related Display for an upcoming presentation.

The bridge photos were taken on the Yangtze River in Chungqing China, The Three Gorges Tujia Ethnic Minority in China's Yichang, Hubei Province, The Sapporo Japan Temple Grounds, and Kanazawa Japan's Kenrokuen Gardens.

My haiku narrative reads:

BRIDGES
Bridges of concrete
Wood, steel, friendship and love
Span and connect us
