OT: Happy New Year

With the winter storms that have followed a stormy season on the gridiron, the New Year can't come soon enough. Even here in Hawaii snow has capped the volcanos.

Wishing all a Happy New Year!

It was also a White Christmas as snow capped the volanic peaks of both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa (which just a month ago was spewing hot lava):

Now that we have made our lofty New Year's Resolutions, may I preface this posting with some salient advice from the instructor who offered it to us this New Year's morning.

First, he advised, to write down the resolutions, noting that a resolizon not written down was merely a wish.

Secondly, it was suggested to break each resolution down into smaller manageable goals as we attempt to accomplish them.

Then there was the referenced need to incorporate consistency and persistence. It was also offered that we include in our resolutions this year one to be kinder to others.
