The game is currently on ESPN. As to the facilities issue concerning Welsh Ryan, it's interesting to see how much better the basketball atmosphere is at the aging and tattered Palestra than PSU has at its modern home arena, Bryce Jordan.

Old arenas put the fans on top of the court and were intimidating for visiting teams. Many modern arenas are too sterile and put fans too far away from the action.
Michigan State played absolutely terribly though. They play like that vs.us, we beat them by 20. Coach Izzo actually apologized for his team's play postgame.....
No question. Hondo Carpenter of Spartan Nation tweeted to me today that PSU had a much bigger home court advantage at the Palestra than they would have at Bryce-Jordan. It certainly seemed like it. Bryce-Jordan is a mausoleum.
If you ever get a chance, go there for a game involving some of the "Big 5" teams in Philly playing each other. It's a zoo. Of course it's Penn's home court, and St. Joe's and Villanova are within hailing distance of the place. I went to a Villanova-Penn game there once with a Villanova alum. He wasn't too bad during the opening Temple-Princeton game, but I thought he was going to get us into a brawl with some Penn fans during the second game.
I think the ultimate home court advantage for the 'Cats was during the '82/'83 season when we played our home games at DePaul Alumni Hall. Even more of an advantage than at our eventual Welsh-Ryan. Up close and personal and LOUD. As Al McGuire said when his Marquette Warriors were visiting, "It's my favorite snake pit!"
