I do not miss bowl games. I always find a way to make them no matter where I am working. This year, due to needs at my project, I had to return to the island right after Christmas. I was ticked and would have loved to have been in Tampa cheering on the Cats.
The bright side is that I would have then had to return to my home in Tennessee after the game. In 1997, that was hell. The UT fans in large part are terrible to deal with. Very few deal with either winning or losing with any semblance of good grace. There are none on the island that I know of so I may just have to deal with generic SEC fans.
Not much of a silver lining but its all I've got.
