Plenty of Love for Northwestern

Having seen Julian play probably 20 times, he's a must get for NU.

I did not know he was torn, I figured ND was his dream school (from past interviews).

You bet your asses I'll be in his ear on the sidelines next season...

Thanks for the insight, epicbret. He mentions a 4.7 when not completely healthy; what kind of speed does he have when he's not nursing a hamstring?

Self-reports a 4.53 on Hudl, but he's plenty fast on tape. He could play on either side of the ball and potentially contribute as a returner (assuming Roberts doesn't take hold of that role early in his career, which I think will be the case).

I think that 4,53 might be a bit slow as well...

Agree with GCG here, just watch the tape. That is great tape, mouth-watering for a college coach IMO. His game speed is fantastic. I cannot remeber a play where anyone caught him from behind, and I watched every game the past two years.

His best attribute is his vision and agility though. They combine for a smooth, smooth running style. It's frankly pretty to watch.

IMO, he's an immediate contributor as a DB and on special teams.

Wouldn't hurt to have an extra returner even if Roberts grabs the role as we seem to be getting that type of player injured often lately (Mark, Shuler, Vault, Anderson etc.).

Really like him at DB (would like to see some footage at CB). Looks really fluid.
Come to a game. I'll take to to Paul's Pizza afterward for a combo the size of a femur.
