Just some thoughts.

-More missed tackles than any other NU defense that I can remember. Very disappointing with all the great LBs on staff and the tradition of NU's defense.

- Charlie should never kick again for NU. It was obvious before this week and even more obvious now. 4-9 this season and 1-5 beyond 40. NU has a better shot at converting the 4th down than kicking.

-OL is the second worst in the B1G. Hard to do anything on offense with that group. Priebe moving out to OT when Ethan was injured just shows the lack of depth. Injuries have hurt the group but how long will we wait for some of these guys who have been injured their entire time at NU to comeback and provide depth. NU should have pursued transfer this past offseason and DEFINITELY needs to this upcoming offseason. No reason to roll with 8-9 healthy OL (Particularly in a season that did have a 85 scholarship limit). Passing on Trapilo and McLaughlin continue to be head scratchers.

-Andrew Marty clearly wasn't healthy this week but he needs to be the starter when he is ready to play. This offense needs a mobile QB with the poor OL.

-This D needed to be here earlier in the season. They battled and played with heart but the TOP was just brutal. This D wins that Duke game which i fear will come back to haunt NU in a big way. Win that game and you are 4-3 with a solid shot at a bowl.

-Sophomore slump is real with BJo and Skoronski. BJo missing a ton of tackles and just seems to take bad angles too often. Skoronski has been the best OL but has taken a step back imo.

-Injuries are destroying this offense. Stephon, Bryce, Cam, OL depth. Really need Steph back.

-Need to revamp the staff for better recruiting. I totally get recruiting a certain type of athlete at NU but this staff has to recruit at a higher level to get to their goals. All offseason was big talk about being a top 10 team. Want those expectations? Something needs to change because it is easy to see we don't physically matchup up with most B1G teams.

Positives: COCO. Dude is a player. Evan Hull is fast. Harbaugh is the same douche he's always been.
