That’s correct, but it has to be concerning to see Fickel’s entire first class, which was intended to be a pivot to a different offensive system and type of talent, to be a bust.
This probably shouldn’t be viewed as a concern because it’s an exodus of guys they need as much as a traditional recruiting and development failure.
TBH it’s a concern more guys like this haven’t left NU, thihhh a couple have

I see you NC. Be nice if all those frustrated with the subjective way these boards are run to vote w their pocketbooks. Much the same for the various athletic programs at NU.
It’s not about the benji, it’s about the treadlines. Smarter service oriented businesses watch trends carefully and try to inflate qualities that grow revenue and stomp out the alternatives.
Yahoo and NU aren’t looking to end NU football. That’s not good for the overall business model. They need to keep things with an upward trajectory. If recurring revenue takes a hit or new revenue declines, the smart company asks why.
