Looks like they project NU as 15th out of 18 B1G teams. Pretty much par for the course.

I'd take being on the bubble. That means at least .500 overall and at least 8 conference wins, IMO. That would make a fun season.

Michigan a 2 seed? They lost a lot, but I know they brought in Mara, Johnson and Cadeau. Still, I think guard could be a problem, especially if Cadeau gets hurt.

Illinois has talent, but still a wild card, IMO. Of course, half the team might get deported.

I have no idea what Maryland has. They lost Queen, Gillespie, Rice and Reese, among others. Pharrell Payne is a nice player they added, along with that big from UConn. But that team is a giant question mark.

I agree on the 15th being expected. But the bracket also projects being a bubble team. Which would suggest 15th being fairly close, record wise, to the 8th to 10th spots.

I'd be worried if the Cats were projected to do well; it would feel like the kiss of death to me. Let them be underrated and dismissed by the media, let them play with something to prove. That seems to work better.
