It's time for another Purple Party!
In 2023, Nebraska set the Women's Volleyball attendance record when they played in Memorial Stadium. Then Caitlyn Clark and Iowa set the Women's Basketball Record when they played at Kinnick Stadium. Now Kelly Amonte-Hiller and our Wildcats will set the Women's Lacrosse Attendance Record on Thursday, Aprill 17th when they play Michigan at our beautiful lakeside Northwestern Memorial Field at Martin Stadium. Let's pack the stands!
I'll be hosting a pre-game Purple Party from 4 to 6 pm at Ten Mile House (across the street from Mustards). It's a great excuse to see the progress on the New Ryan Field, to grab an appetizer and beverage, and to mingle with some Wildcat Fans. Plan to get out to work early and plan to be there on this record-setting night!!
Purple Party Details:
1) Date/Time/Location - Thursday, April 17th from 4 to 6 pm at Ten Mile House
2) Food - Appetizers will be provided
3) Beverages - Cash bar
4) Cost - None!!
5) Parking - Park near Ten Mile House (Ryan Field lot). At 6 pm, plan to drive to Lakeside Stadium where the SPAC parking garage and Kellogg lots will be open. Game time at 7 pm.
6) Tickets for game - Get them on Nusports.com. They are not expensive. Supposedly there will be some food and beverage available at Stadium but details not yet finalized.
7) Who's invited - All Wildcat Fans (even if only for the night). Bring friends, kids, spouses, neighbors, etc. Come for the whole two hours. Or just stop in for a few minutes to say Hi!!
8) Dress - Wear Purple, of course (and be prepared for a chilly night on the Lakefront)
9) RSVP - Let me know if you're coming to Ten Mile House so we can have enough food and bartenders
Let's make it a GREAT NIGHT for KAH, Madison Taylor and all the Wildcat lacrosse players. Get your tickets, stop by Ten Mile House for pre-gaming, and then be at the Stadium as we set the record!
