Random thoughts from my first NU Wrigley game.

• This will be my last Wrigley game. Probably. Unless we are good. I don't know. The venue sucks and we lose
• I was cold as a well-digger's ass. I had tons of clothes and was still cold.
• CTA was fun.
• How cool (no pun intended) if the game had been at Martin? There were like 75%+ ILL-ANNOY fans, and I'm sure we paid for the privilege of playing at Wrigley, just play on the lakefront.
• My friend and his son - fair weather fans - left at the half. Before they left, I told the son, a teenager who really likes the Cats "watch for #80 next year ". Wait until he grows into his body. People are thinking Lausch could become Kafka, ok, then Eligon can become Prater.
• Sad to lose Bryce and Coco to injury in their last games. My two faves.
• AJ can catch anything.
• Only a couple of bad snaps and none off the center's ass.
• Boe made a ton of mistakes but showed a good arm
• I saw Theran's dad and almost asked him to tell his son it would be great for him to come back/not transfer. But it felt awkward.
• Our coaches had a bad year. If Braun didn't have 2023 goodwill, they'd be on a 2025 hot seat.
• Lies, damned lies and statistics. Way more yards, way more first downs, but the big plays by ILL-ANNOY turned it into a Laugher(y)

You obviously weren't paying close attention. There very much was another snap off the center's ass in the first half. It still made it back to Lausch but he had to pick it up off his shoe tops. A weekly ritual.

OSU got an ass-snap today, as I was flipping between games in the fourth quarter.

Next year’s top returning WRs will be CJ (11 catches, 121 yards), Eligon (4-83), and Covey (8-82).

Eligon enters as the top option? I thought that he’d been a four-game redshirt, but I guess he’s played all season.
