That has to be a Riply's "Believe it or Not" kind of stat. Mostly, we don't believe it. Thanks for pointing that out. It helps my superstition phobia.

Actually the fact that we have been ranked so many weeks this season is remarkable. This season, coupled with shovels in the ground, adda bowl win, and you have some pretty good recruiting bulletin board material. Beating Stanford & Duke helps us a little with specific recruits too.

Update - Of the 12 weeks of the season, the Cats have been ranked in the Top 25 for 8 weeks (5 in a row and then 3 in a row). Our record as a ranked team this year is 6-2.

Prior to the season, we were unranked and not listed as "others receiving votes". Therefore, we were not in the top 44.
