anyone ever used it? I saw it on shark tank last night - basically airbnb for college towns focussing on football game weekends, commencements and other events. Seems like a great idea to me - not necessarily for NU, but for road trips with a larger group, places like Iowa, PSU, Nebraska etc.

That was the greatest moment in Shark Tank history. For those of you that didn't see it, Mark Cuban bought in and the 2 guys from Rent Like a Champion were like we want to do the deal, but we have 1 caveat... you have to go tailgate with us at a Notre Dame game. And then Mark Cuban says, "I went to Indiana, I hate Notre Dame." I was cracking up.
From what I understand, they charge pretty high fees to homeowners. I use AirBnB and Homeaway to rent my place out in New Buffalo MI. Several ND folks stayed this fall while I was in Indy on business.
Short term rentals have very high fees. My dad had a short term rental condo in FL and I think the RE agent charged something like 35-40% for weekly rentals.
