I can't see it, because it's a premium article ( @CoralSpringsCat please note). From the comments, supposedly we are 6th (and Mich 128th!!) But I don't get it. Several key performers missing and several more quiet about their plans. My only non-Rock inkling is Braun saying he didn't have any more scholarships, and this quiet/free thread on INU.

Anyway here's the rankings with little detail

Is Ben Bryant coming back? We are getting any quality QB back and that would be the most important part

NU is heavily weighted towards defense (88%/#1) and just OK on offense (64%/53). This makes sense given departures of Bryant, Johnson, and Priebe.

Also leads me to believe the model assumes players are returning for their COVID “free year” unless they’ve announced otherwise. This would mean guys like Kirtz, Azema, etc. are included. I haven’t seen any official return announcements out of those guys, though Kirtz (in addition to Pearson and Porter, though I never really doubted Porter would be back) was participating in workouts per photos recently posted to NU’s Instagram account.

Having Kirtz and Henning back gives us a nice leg up on the wide receiver position. Replacing Johnson will be a challenge but hopefully somebody like Covey (another Peterman???) will emerge.

Sully, Hilinski, and Lausch all return.

Plus the free board rumor was that Gronowski may follow Lujan. I’d feel better about our QB situation with a transfer like that.

Well, if you follow the Rock, you’d know that Gronowski isn’t coming to Evanston. Though going to Wisconsin who he cheered for growing up looks unlikely given Van Dyke already transferred over.

Coral I can accept Zelle if that works for you.

Thank you from the freeloaders!

Who do you think we could land?

It was a rhetorical question. How can u say 76% of our production is coming back if Bryant isn’t?
See GCG response. 1) they (not me) presuming heavy % returning on Defense and only around half on offense 2) re Bryant, remember he did nothing the first 3 games and then missed games with injury, so he had only about 2/3 of our QB "production".
