Robert Fitzgerald accused of ankle twist

On the six second clip looks more like just continuation of the play. See him holding on and position is awkward but no twist. As talented as Smith is cannot let go till play is officially done. Maybe more on extended version but of what is in the clip nothing really there

True. Although they're b******* about it here in Columbus

I looked at Robert Fitzgerald’s Instagram after Buckeyes fans tagged him on our team posts. A few trolls left comments on a post about his dad passing away suggesting he should die too. (Really, they did.) I know people online can be the worst of the worst … but even by today’s standards that depressed me.

There is a reason everyone hats OSU

Maybe somebody who played at a higher level could comment, but this strikes me as not much of anything. Not really seeing it on the video.
Yep. When I saw the post title I expected something really obviously bad. Just looks like a tackle to me, albeit an awkward one.

And reality is that it was more about the knee being bent back but that was not really the defender, it was more about how Smith fell when tackled

I mean, I agree he held on a little longer than normal, but I'm just not seeing a full gator roll, twist, or pull. Nobody on OSU's actual team has commented on this, even obliquely, so this just seems like a dipshit Columbus local didn't go to OSU overly sensitive scarlet fan thing.

I don't remember which Michigan game (12 or 13) but this one asswipe wolverine did an obvious post tackle ankle twist to Colter and hobbled him for the rest of the game. Not as bad as that Cal criminal hit, but bad

That block by Wisconsin was also dirty, directly on the knee of Xander, and now Braun is questioning whether he can return this season.
