Can you imagine this board if NU lost to Kenn St.?

But more seriously, while many teams are blowing out their opponents, most are struggling (or even losing) to put away overmatched opponents. It happens.

With the massive amount of roster turnover caused by the portal many teams are taking longer to gel than in the past.

Interesting that this game was played at Kennesaw St.

Part of why we don’t see results like this more often is the rarity of a power-conference school playing a true road game at a low-major. If these kinds of games were more common, we’d probably see a number of upsets every year.

If I told you that Kennesaw State had 22 turn overs, 21 personal fouls, shot 62% from the line, hit less than 30% from three, and took six less shots than Rutgers, you'd expect a blowout.

I have watched portions of 3 Rutgers games this year. Their two fresmen are freaks and just incredibly talented.

But I don't understand them being ranked. Unless you are a Zion/Barrett level of freshmen duo, it's going to be hard to carry your team to being ranked. There will be growing pains, experience matters. The supporting cast around them is just not good. Some decent young blood there, but emphasis on young.

So this score is something I have been kind of expecting. Rutgers will be the type of team that will beat anyone but also be beaten by anyone in conference play.

Kennesaw almost blew that game with terrible free throw shooting down the stretch. With a two point lead and eight seconds left, one of their guys missed two free throws but Rutgers had a pass intercepted heading down the court.
