I don’t expect NU to match up with OSU RBs and S making millions of dollars. But they fail with two basic snaps back to back? That’s tough to swallow.

How does a center screw up a snap like that on third down? He snapped it right into his butt. Did he think Launch was under center? Confounding.
He hasn't been the starter all year. The original guy (Bailey) is out for the season with an injury.
The outcome in this game was probably inevitable, but that botched snap on third down was the turning point. 3rd and 3, and the Cats had been moving the ball well. Get the first down there, and perhaps the momentum continues.
Not that difficult to explain. A young center desperate to quickly extend his arms and engage the snarling DL in front of him short arms the snap. He has been doing it all season and that is why a lot of his shotgun snaps have been high. This time he short armed it so much that his snap did not even clear his rear end.
Most of the year then. Came in v Wash after Bailey went down. He has had a shit-ton of bad snaps. Not a first year player either
Seen it several times just this season. carsello actually did it again in the 4th quarter but this time it just grazed his ass and barely made it back to Lausch.
Happened the prior game as well. Lausch picked up the loose ball and made a great throw.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but if you snap it into your ass it suggests your arms are too short and your stomach is too big. Speaking from experience.
He SUCKS. Get someone else in there over that bum. And I hope he reads this. We need to demand better when it comes to basic fundamentals.
