Sullivan done for the year

Multiple sources reported this week that Brendan Sullivan has been ruled out for the remainder of the year due to an ankle sprain. So far no-one on the Iowa boards has blamed Robert Fitzgerald. Maybe we can finally focus future discussions on the quarterback position at NU to the kids who have chosen to stay and play for the Wildcats?

Injury was always going to be the issue with him. I think he was hurt both in 2022 and 2023 at some point. He likes to run and does not seem to like to avoid contact to the degree that a starting QB needs to in order to make it through a season.

Sorry to hear that about Sully no one wants to see anyone get hurt, however one of his big drawbacks here at NU was he couldn't stay healthy and he really did not play a ton.

I don’t care to discuss Sully either, but bringing him up in a new thread doesn’t necessarily help in that endeavor.
