My takeaway. We live and die with our three point shooting. The absence of a penetrating point guard makes us a one dimensional team when teams double team Pardon. The DePaul point guard ate us up in the first half and created lots of points in the paint for them. We cannot count on 25-0 runs to bail us out.

I thought Greer did a good job for the limited time he was in. The fact that he came in while Ash sat out the entire game reflects the progress Greer has made. Collins decision to stay with Turner who had a hot hand made sense but simply reinforces our three dependent offense. I am thrilled we won, however, DePaul’s double team strategy on Pardon will be repeated by others if we cannot find someone who can penetrate and score or dish. We need a more balanced offense.

I think Greer has made progress. But Collins said after the game that Jordan's knee was hurting and he wasn't cleared medically for the game.

Did either of you watch the game in real time?

Down 15 halfway thru the second half, playing uninspired defense, chucking and missing threes, and no apparent rhythm on offense. The fact that you were able to foresee that 25-0 run that allowed the Cats to win with the team going 6 for 6 from 3 is beyond impressive. Well done, both! It is cool that you never had a doubt in the team.

Please excuse my moments of weakness while watching in real time and expressing frustration while watching an extremely frustrating performance by our team up to that point. You are right, it was completely unacceptable and impossible to fathom.

Henceforth I will only ever remain completely positive and confident that this team will win every game, no matter how they are playing or what the score. I will repress all feelings of doubt and frustration because that is how Mike and Fitz51 believe fans should act.

I finally hit up the baked potato stand, highly recommended.

It was solid except for not hot enough to melt the butter. Or they could melt the butter. Of course I got it at the beginning of second half so it might have cooled off
