Northwestern became the first school to offer Kyle Nunn a scholarship last Saturday morning. Adam Cushing went out to Findlay (Ohio) to visit on Wednesday, and two days later Nunn got his offer over the phone.
"I've never been so excited," he said. "I was so happy, so excited... I couldn't stop smiling all weekend."
Nunn was not even in the Rivals database but I created a page for him this morning. I made him an Athlete. NU offered the 6-foot-3, 190-pounder as an outside linebacker, but Ohio State is recruiting him as a safety and Toledo is looking at him as either a safety or wide receiver.
He will take his first visit to NU this weekend for the Penn State game.
