Well, I'm back from vacation and just traded texts with three-star Paramus (NJ) Catholic WR Donald Stewart. While he is still wide open and doesn't have any favorites at this point, NU has pretty much stopped talking to him. He said that he'd like to visit NU, but he doubts that will happen now.

While Stewart said he wasn't sure of the reason NU stopped recruiting him, I'm hearing it probably has to do with his test scores. NU would like to get one more WR to go along with Skowronek, Lees and Chiaokhiao-Bowman, and they probably eventually will. But they're not in a position where they HAVE to have one, either.

Really, I don't expect much to happen on the 2016 front for the rest of the summer. I think NU may be content to wait and see what comes their way during the fall. I think another WR and another LB/Safety-type are the most likely targets, but they could take a "best available" kind of guy, too.
