This game was ours. As CCC said, if the refs don't eff that up, we were going to win. Momentum all the way. The refs also missed an earlier goal tend. That's 2 goal tends and the refs or six points. That's the ball game right there.
We could have won this game. We shot terribly in the 1st half. Even the 2nd half wasn't great shooting. Yet, we almost came back form 22 down. 53 points in the 2nd against the #3 team in the country.
Couldn't be prouder of the Cats and their heart that they showed.
And the best is that CCC is right. This is not the end, it's the beginning. Coach K in Year 4 = 1st NCAA appearance. Round of 32. We are on track, my purple wildcat friends. Next year, we aren't sneaking up on anyone, but we won't need to. Everyone, but Sanjay and Tap are back. We get Rap and Falzon back. Maybe a grad transfer big. The B1G championship has to be the goal.
