Boo said it in the postgame & he was right. Maybe not QUITE as many as we had in Salt Lake, but a big purple crowd. Really loud at times, especially when BSU fouled us late to basically clinch the win. Huge roar. I’m told the pregame pep rally had 1,000+ registered & quite a few more in the arena (which was really a stellar venue). We had some UCLA fans behind us commenting on our team and fan turnout. They were impressed. So was I! GO CATS!

I’ll echo what you said

Even the two ucla fans who sat next to us didn’t come back at halftime as it was so loud in our section with wildcat fans.

This was not just a west coast purple crowd. Lots of people, including students, flew in from across the country.

No bowl game. No tournament. Should ever ask “does northwestern travel”. We will show up wherever, whenever.
