There was a lot to be happy about last night, but my favorite part was watching that game, and truly feeling that we were the better team. Now, I know that this isn't even close to the same Wisconsin team as last year and they are incredibly young, but we were the better team in my eyes. And not just last night- I think this year we are a better team than Wisconsin is period. Not only can we match (or even have an advantage) their size, but we were just as much, if not more, athletic, and we had the best player on the floor.
It was just nice to play a traditionally strong team (even if they are in a down year by their standards) and really feel that we were every bit as good, better in my mind, than they were. It speaks to a lot of things, but mostly to the recruiting that Collins and his staff have done. The talent upgrade on our roster since he took over is really night and day.
