The NCAA should get rid of these conference championship games

The NCAA could not be further from a level playing field with respect to distribution of talent or resources, academic standards, ethical codes or about fifty other categories, so all the hand-wringing over the most fair way to determine a champion always struck me as odd.

The college game is not a meritocracy, hard stop. The bowls are fun to watch, fun to attend, and if we ignore the graft and greed surrounding all of it, good times had by all.

Always more fun to root for David anyway.
