The size — or, more specifically, the lack of size — of Northwestern’s offensive linemen seems to be a frequent topic of conversation on the WR boards.
So, I did some digging and found out the TRUE weights of the big guys up front from a source. Not surprisingly, I learned that the weights listed in NUSports.com are not accurate. Most Cats are quite a bit heavier than their reported weights.
Here are the weight ranges at which NU’s offensive lineman played last season:
Peter Skoronski 315-320
Josh Priebe 301-305
Sam Gerak 296-300 (graduated)
Charlie Schmidt 302-305
Ethan Wiedekehr 298-302
Conrad Rowley 318-320
Ben Wrather 310-315
Caleb Tiernan 310
Payne He’bert 312 (transferred)
Zachary Franks 320
Josh Thompson 320
Dom D’Antonio 290-297
Jackson Carsello 285
