Godwin immediately dropped the guy with a solid ankle tackle. Are people assuming that the drop caused the guy to slow down? It was a huge drop, but our D was solid all day - maybe Godwin makes that tackle and we stuff them anyway

It would have been a big play for them and they really did not have any. It would have flipped the field and put them at least in a position for a FG attempt and could have changed the direction of the game. It was a big drop

I agree it was a huge play. But I've seen a number of comments (not necessarily here) saying that he dropped a 'sure touchdown pass'.

Pretty sure Godwin tackles him right there.

Likely he is tackled. But it would have been a huge play for them
