Over the DePaul loss on a WAC team today, with predictable results, 80-38 us. Video game stats for us including forcing 24 turnovers and turning over the ball twice (twice!).

Only dropped to #15 in the rankings as well, so didn't suffer much for losing to a ranked team, even at home.

The nonconference season has ended and the real season begins after Christmas!

I didn't see the game; how did they look against DePaul?

Terrible. Worst first half they've played all season, clawed their way back from a big deficit in the third quarter only to play just as badly as the first half in the 4th.

Wonder if they were gassed down the stretch. Mike, how many deep to they go in their rotation?

They go eight deep, but Maya Jonas got hurt and hasn't returned yet so they were essentially 7 deep for DePaul, and they were probably gassed down the stretch (though that doesn't explain the terrible first half). Missing Lauren Douglas hurts as well, and with each passing game missed I am beginning to wonder if she will return this season.

They simply do not have enough depth, and no center. Foul trouble, ultimately, will kill us, especially without Douglas. I think they make the tournament, but will bow out early.
