Super impressive, especially for a high school athlete! That would've been the 14th-best bench press performance for his position at the 2018 NFL combine. Imagine what a 4 year weight training program will do for him!

A little back story here. This took place during the pro bowl festivities. On Sunday they award the Don Shula High School "Coach of the Year' award. There are 32 finalists, each one nominated by an NFL team. Tommy's coach at North Kansas City High, Leon Douglas, was nominated by the Kansas City Chiefs.

That’s really impressive... for context, I think he put up more reps than Strief did at the NFL combine - although Lilja / Walker emphasized the incline bench and not the standard bench.

However check out this 15 year-old female lifter from Florida: she puts up 355 pounds easily! Wow.
