Starred in Finding Forrester. One of my favorite movies.

He was epitome of cool and sophisticated as Bond. Not necessarily the best acting performances, but he was perfect for the role and set the standard for everyone else who took the role after him.

I don't think anyone would ever put him on a list as master thespian, but I think his acting improved over time. My favorite Connery performance has to be as Dr. Henry Walton Jones, Sr, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Second would probably be John Patrick Mason in The Rock.

The Man Who Would Be King is my favorite Sean Connery movie. RIP.

I met him when I had the rare opportunity to play golf at Pine Valley. Connery arrived by helicopter while our group was finishing breakfast before our tee time. He was very gracious, friendly, and funny. Good guy.
