Someone on the free board called this a total rebuild but is it? As horrible as this season has been, thought I would look at back at the 2018 class to see who has shown the potential to take that next step to help the returning starters:

Summary- there was no break out guy this season from this class. We need some of the guys that have’t seen much of the field to step up. Disappointing that the LB’s couldn’t see some situational play. Was hoping Rivers could be a Nate Hall type. So far it has been a whiff on the OL, although in fairness it usually takes a couple of years to build up to playing weight/strength. I thought McDonald would play early and that hasn’t happened. Unless you are Austin Carr or some of the previous out of nowhere WR’s that NU has had, you can see what most guys are going to be by their third year in the program. Big year coming up for these guys.
