The Bears have released Trevor Siemian. Wonder if h will try to extend his NFL career by signing with another team ?

This would be great! The Bengals badly need a competent back-up QB. You hope he never plays, but if Burrow ever misses a snap, the Bengals are in trouble. He visits Cincy tomorrow.

The Bengals are taking a look at a backup quarterback.
Trevor Siemian is visiting the Bengals tomorrow, according to James Palmer of NFL Network.
Siemian spent last season with the Bears. He has previously spent time with the Saints, Titans, Jets, Vikings and Broncos. He has started 30 games in his NFL career, including one for the Bears last year.
The Bengals currently have only one backup quarterback, Jake Browning, behind Joe Burrow on the depth chart. Browning has never taken a single regular-season snap in his NFL career, so the Bengals would surely like to get some more experience in their quarterback room.

Seems like a no-brainer for the Bengals. This would be great! The Bengals badly need a competent back-up QB. You hope he never plays, but if Burrow ever misses a snap, the Bengals are in trouble.
Completely agree. I probably watched 75% of Trevor's games at QB for Denver. He got zero support from the OL and WR groups. Despite those obstacles, he played pretty darned well at times.I had the DirecTV NFL package during TS' Denver years. He started 2 seasons behind a horrendous OL but even more importantly were the number of drops that the WRs suffered. Emmanuel Sanders, later with Buffalo, when asked which QB he had played with ,threw the best ball and he immediately said Trevor Siemian. Trevor has been with the Vikings(backup to Cousins), Jets(cheap shotted by Myles Garrett), Saint and Bears. The only year, he actually started under Kubiak, he earned a ProBowl invite. I believe his career would have been much different had he played behind a decent OL .
