Oh goodie, a bunch of guys off another terrible team (they have anybody whgo is any good?)
Edit: Maybe exactly one player: Elic Ayomanor, a second team all ACC WR. He is a third year RS-SO rising RS-JR, so he may be in the awkward year for our transfer rules (unclear since academically he's a prohibited rising senior but athleticly he's an allowed rising sophomore.
Stanford had literally zero other players on the All ACC squad, including honorable mention, which is wild because there are several dozen honorable mention guys. This is a shit shit team.
Geez, Chico has a black cloud over his head.I’d take all of WR JonAnthony Hall, DE Gabe Kaminski, and/or CB Brandon Nicholson — 2024 or 2025 guys that Braun offered and recruited extensively. TE Zach Giuliano is a former NU commit, but I always felt like we were just a convenient placeholder for him. Also offered DE Adam Shovlin, but I don’t think we were really ever involved.
Back a couple classes, TE Chico Holt transferred from NU to Stanford post-Fitz.
Interesting that we’ve already got Farrell in the building to help if we so choose.

Lot of changes that occurred during that time including a big influx of NIL money to big programs that put both programs in the also ran category for the time. Plus the way things happened with Fitz so trying to get NIL working properly took a back seatCertainly not a precisely parallel story between Northwestern and Stanford over the past ~five years, but ironic timing that both programs have hit such rough patches post-COVID. I feel badly for players of who signed up to play competitive football at schools held in high esteem and have had less-than-optimal experiences.
