Ethan Tucky's tape on Hudl is striking in that as a linebacker he is fast with a nose of the ball. and as a runner he is also fast and runs with power, making him an interesting candidate. and that he is happy for the offer makes this situation great for NU...again. His measurable at 6'3" and 218 for a runner with listed 4.43 speed in my mind makes him a real find and a multi talented athlete, if he comes here. Let's see where tis all leads.

Like this kid as well but wonder why NU is recruiting him as a SB. He also seemed surprised by this and wonder if that could turn out to be a decision breaker.

Hmmm...I was thinking just the opposite, wondering if NU's unique recruitment might differentiate itself from all the other schools recruiting him as a LB thus giving us a bit of an advantage.

I think Ethan may be viewed as a similar type of player as Garrett Dickerson, who was a 4-star DE or SB/TE In HS. If I recall correctly most of his offers were for the defensive side of the ball.

That is kind of what I was thinking. Get his attention with a unique offer. Anything can happen down the road. He might take a closer look at NU and ask to play LB or get here and make a switch. I doubt that offering as a SB closes the door completely on LB if he has the skills.

How about free safety? Sounds like Urlacher in college!
