I have never seen our defense as tough as it was in the second half against Brown. Everyone contributed! Especially Gaines and Scottie who stepped up their game. Saw Falzon and Skelly looking improved also. Best defense in the Big Ten!
Two more weeks of wildcats lock down defense and we will be dancing!

So wrong again! How about paying attention? MSU has by far the best defense in the Big 10. A front line Jackson, Ward and Bridges could be the best front line in college basketball. Google MSU and you might learn a thing about the No. 1 team in the nation this week and for many weeks to come.
Cluelessness shows its face again and again and again. Ash got torched in the first half v. Brown. However, turnovers on poor passing and Ole defense. Anthony Gaines showed why he is a much better player than your beloved yesterday and will be ahead of your man in the rotation.

Gaines can't beat the press. Only Isaiah and Jordan can bring the ball up. Not even Scottie can bring ball up
Jordan did not look comfortable bringing the ball up on Saturday. He is not a natural guard. He is a combo guard which means he plays both guard positions. Gaines will get more of his minutes if continues to play like he did on Saturday.
As for TOs, Ash will get a lot more turnovers per minute if he plays extended minutes. Glynn Watson of UNL, his old high school teammate will turn him over without problem.
I like Brown also. He seems like a natural point guard and is not afraid to score. I really don't see much,if any of a drop off with Mac out if Gaines, Brown,and Ash continue to play solid on both ends of the court. Definitely agree with u about Gaines. Kid is awesome. Very assertive. Can't wait till BT season.
