ACL surgery from injury suffered in second half of PAC-12 title game:

Led the Utes with 60 catches for 637 yards; next closest guy by receptions is at 30 and next closest by yards is at 475. Was also their main PR/KR guy.

While not "new news" because his injury was assumed to be serious, this is a big blow to the Utes' offense.

Yep. Along with their top RB confirmed out. Now if Huntley can confirm to not be able to return from his broken collarbone in time.......

Feels like it will play out like the Iowa game, first to 14 or 17 wins. Strong defensive, ball control game.

Utah fan here.

Losing Covey is a blow to the offense. He's tiny (listed at 5'8" so he's probably 5'6") but incredibly fast and quick. Utah also used him all their trick plays because he was a HS QB.

I would expect Huntley to be back for the bowl game. Shelley filled in admirably as his back up, but Huntley is bigger with more experience.

Moss will still be out, the 3 that filled in for him did a good job, but we missed him against Washington.

I expect this to be a very physical game.
