Watching Ohio State, only one thing in college can stop em!

WMU is better than you think. Fleck is a great recruiter and coach, besides never judge a team on week one.

Well, I'd give WMU an "A" based on their week 1 performance. Fought like crazy and made MSU work. Fleck will be working in a Power 5 conference soon.

Totally agree, maybe Champaign .I liked him very much when he was recruiting Jango. Very good coach and recruiter.

You don't have to sell me on Fleck. If NU needed to hire a new coach tomorrow, Fleck is the first guy I would go after.

But part of Sparty's 'intimidation factor' will have to be earned against Oregon. Beating up on the other eastern division teams isn't going to earn them much national respect. The pollsters are not going to be kind to the Big Ten if the conference continues to lose out of conference games at the present clip.

The East is still better than the West by far. Michigan will improve and Penn State lost week one to a very good Temple team. Indiana will improve greatly the next few weeks. Their offense is very good and their defense will be much better when their starters are back. A team like Indiana can't afford to lose four starters off defense. Coach Inge is one of the top linebacker coaches in football. MSU is loaded and extremely well coached. Maryland and Rutgers are greatly improved.

Gee ChiDoc, if your handle indicates that you are a doctor, then why all the exhileration about a kid getting his collarbone broken? That attitude is Ohio St. at it's worst and maybe a switch to the SEC would fit your blood lust.

WTF are you talking about? Where did I say I was happy the kid got hurt? You sound like you should probably stick to a non contact sport where participation ribbons are given out and score isn't kept.

Ignore him.

Thanks, I will do that. I was born in Jersey. Toms River.

Wow, is your reading comprehension seriously this bad? You claim they had problems with their DLine because Brewer had all this time to throw which is hilariously incorrect. The guy only threw 15 passes and was hit or hurried on 80% of his throws (12/15), until they finally broke his collarbone. Since when is that a weak DLine? Pointing out VT had a very weak 100 yards passing when OSU's DB's didn't completely blow coverage also doesn't matter when discussing their DLine? LOL. You've been living in PA too long, you sound like the posters on the BWI board.

Coverage is part of pass defense, smart guy. And the fact remains that VT was in the game up until the point where Brewer was knocked out, after which their offense obviously went completely down the tube. That interception the second-string guy threw must have been in the air 10 seconds. By the way, we do things just fine in Pa. and I'll put my reading comprehension against yours any day of the week.

CatsDad, what a coincidence in reverse. You were born in Toms River, I lived in Bridgewater NJ for 30 years. I was born and raised in Ohio (Akron and Bath) and you now live in Ohio.......

Most my family is from Pennsylvania. I was one of two born in Jersey. My grandfathers brother owned that airport in Toms River. I love Ohio and wouldn't live anywhere else. I enjoy however going East, reminds me of the good times I had as a kid at the Jersey shore.

I grew up in Collegeville PA. My father was born and grew up in Philly. My mother was from Lancaster, PA. My great grandfather was a congressman from Philly and ran for mayor of Philly. Glackin's are Philadelphians, but my sons and I are now Buckeyes. But are not Bucks fans. Looks like my sons and I are forever Cat fans. Chitown Big Cat has a home game against a top ten team Nationally and then away in Jersey against another top team. Be nice for NU and us to be undefeated going into October.
