Thorson performs similar to other redshirt freshmen: similar to Kafka's redshirt freshman year: W 7 L 5

In my assumption and assessment I included the following:
Thorson is the best all around QB potential talent I have seen here.
Thorson has a solid defense anchored by DE's. [Very similar to the old Pittsburgh Panther team with Marino's first year]
At worst, I think we are 7-5. We will have a helluva defense and that is HUGE. We will have a helluva RB, solid WR. In fact, it is VERY hard to think that we could only be 6-6. With ANY luck we will be better than 7 games. A good coaching year is 7-5.
