I think a game like this embodies Collins' "vision" for the program: A long, athletic team that plays good defense goes toe-to-toe with a conference bully in a rocking house of purple. That proper outcome was the only thing missing, but this is the type of competitive environment that Collins seems to be building (point guard issue aside, which was a left field event).
