I saw some of the PSU Temple game... and I thought PSU looked terrible. That's all I've seen of Penn State this year. I was working under the assumption that Temple wasn't a good team. While we can question Temple's schedule, 7-0 is pretty damn good. I looked up PSU's record too. They're 6-2 also pretty damn good. Their competition and the results of the games seem to tell an interesting story.

So Penn State played 2 good teams and lost to both of them pretty badly. The beat one reasonable non-power 5 team, the bottom of the Big Ten East, Buffalo and Army. But you can only play the team's on your schedule and they won 6 of them and have only lost to undefeated teams.
