Hey Lou - thanks again for these.

Does Mr. Cipriano pay for the right to publish? There's nothing wrong with it - 'Sponsored' content is obviously why BuzzFeed and Gawker/Deadspin and so many other web properties are successful, but it's better practice to disclose. It doesn't change the content or Mr. C's status as an expert worth reading. If he's not paying, that's okay too (and maybe you should charge him).

Hey all- Just wanted to hop in here and answer your question. The articles are not sponsored content. I'm happy to contribute content and Lou is happy to remind folks that outside of these articles I offer services within the same realm.

Like most of you, I've read Louie's (et al.) stuff for quite some time. After I took the job at NIU I reached out to him with some questions about this business and he's been quite helpful ever since...hence our connection.

I appreciate all the feedback. I do prowl the boards from time to time, if anyone ever has further questions stemming from an article or topic, please leave me a note and I'll do my best to fire back.

Really enjoy your articles. It reveals the complexity involving the evaluation of a recruit.
