Noticed he hasn't played in the two games in Spain. Given all the missed 3's thus far and his proficiency from downtown I would've expected him to get some good minutes. Any word on why he hasn't been playing? Hope all is ok.

Very good signs if Falzon can be a consistent scorer (10-15 ppg) and maybe he is such a good shooter that he forces defenders to guard him tighter and then he can drive and create opportunities for himself and Olah or Law in the post. Also, based on last season and potential development, I viewed Lindsey as a player who can make a big jump and, knock on wood and if stays injury free, it appears that with more 15-20 pounds, he is showing some growth. Lastly, if JVZ can provide some punch off the bench, NU might have something and a very strong bench with Lindsey, Falzon and JVZ leading the way and one of these guys might find themselves in the starting lineup eventually.

Since it is time to dream, wouldn't it be great if NU became the surprise B1G team of the season? I don't even mean B1G champs but strong record, no bad losses, couple of big upsets, some nice close wins and a first round victory in the tourney. That would be a normal season for some programs but a pretty awesome season for us

I am totally on board with these guys. This IS the year! Other than being a step slow at guard, an inch short at power forward, and semi-athletic (but improving) at center we have a very strong team. This group reminds me of a top tier Missouri Valley Conference team, and those guys can really play. We can shoot from every position, we can play tougher than in the past, and we can defend. Can't wait.
