Wildside Rating vs. IU

When I was a student, I didn't miss many basketball games. Players lived in my dorm. They were out there representing my university. I went to support them.

I don't think I ever went to watch anybody I knew at their place of employment, though.

Is that part of it? Maybe?

And yes, many Northwestern kids lose interest pretty quickly when the team isn't winning.
There are plenty of people who feel that a winning team reflects well on them and conversely a losing team reflects poorly on them.

So weak. Btw they have lost ONE home game.

Tons of IU fans, lots of open seats in the student sections on both sides. Lots.
We had had almost a week of subzero temps and then still cold but snow. Takes a lot to get kids out under those situations (yes they are pretty wimpy) Plus we have had sort of an up and down season. Gotta keep giving them a reason to be there and cheer

I'm not smart enough to upload a photo to rivals, but (because I knew the topic would come up) here's a photo of the Wilson Club seats during a commercial break early in the second half. You cannot see into people's secret hearts via jpeg, but based on clothing there are about a dozen IU fans in the frame and about 400 Wildcat fans... There's one confused person wearing an Indiana sweatshirt and a Northwestern vest.

Go 'Cats!
Don't a lot of people in Wilson seat section partake of ammenities and watch from behind the seat in the bar restaurant area? Seats are paid for and that crowd isn't interested in selling them because they cannot get close to getting their money back (I mean don't they pay about $500 per ticket by the time you figure in the required donation?)
